Each era, each composer, each sound all have their own unique flavor. That’s why I continue to listen to, look at, taste, etc. as many things as I can to understand better .
When not writing, slumped in my local cineplex or dwelling at film festivals, I can usually be found online sifting through one of my favourite film sites. The one thing I always crave in films is heart-pounding, mind-bending, eye-opening originality, simple as that.
Cinemania [ˈsi-nə-mā-nē-ə] n. – excessive, often uncontrollable excitement that manifests in the presence of films, filmmaking or film discussion.
This is not a blog…it’s a visual dialogue.
I always keep an eye out for images that are interesting and inspiring to me. It’s a place to store and spotlight the art, photography, poetry and music I find.
Particularly fond of kindness, manners and old-fashionedness.
