You might appreciate this. Footage of Ballet Russes was found in a basement in Australia, showing them playing on their off-days in the late 30′s and early 40′s. I saw the Balanescu Quartet perform this work live in Oxford (in front of a projection) a few years ago and it was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen.
